Gratifying Performance
This Intehill 15.6 '' QLED portable monitor is a solid performer right out of the box. Hook it up to your compatible OTG (On The Go) devices and you will experience something special. The image is bright,The Intehill packs 500 Nit of brightness into this 15.6 inch screen. That is really excellent.
FYI:
A Nit represents candlelight per square meter.
The color reproduction is really pleasing. The images can be pushed a bit in contrast without any evidence of over-saturation or bleed. They retain sharpness and detail.
I have a small cube computer with Windows 11 as the operating system. This small computer needed a companion portable monitor to pack into my gadget backpack along with my Video and preferred still image captures. This brought joy to my eyes from the moment my monitor shook hands with my tiny computer. (See my image) Likewise my cellphone had a rewarding hookup as well.
The protective cover or case for the monitor works really well. It is strong and clings to the monitor.
It provides complete protective covering for the screen during transport. It also serves as a stand to achieve the right viewing angle with the monitor screen.
The instructions for the OTG and OSD (On Screen Display) are clear and succinct. No confusing excess verbiage. The pictorials diagrams are also very clear and not at all confusing. Such as the Nintendo switch dock and Switch mode. (See Image)
This monitor, and my companion cube computer along with my compact wireless mouse and keyboard are ready travel companions.
This monitor, in my estimation, is everything that it claims to be. It presents a bright and clear picture, is simple to hookup, and it looks great! Plenty of reserve screen brightness if you need it.
Definitely has great appeal for the professional that does not want to waste time messing around...this portable monitor delivers.
I gave it a full five star rating. I like it and I am a satisfied user. Not anything more to be said except maybe...buy and enjoy!

Amazing display for the price
After seeing really good reviews, I bought Intehill's 13.4" 4k portable display, and I'm thus far very happy. The display is sharp, bright and has nice colours. It's also well calibrated right off the bat. Physically, the size and weight of the display are perfect for me. I'm using a Framework laptop, which has a 13.5", so the display sizes are fairly comparable but of different aspect ratios. One of the things I'd like to improve on the display are the buttons. They're usable, but they don't offer a very good feel in terms of feedback and snappiness, especially the clickable wheel. I find the depth at which a press is registered pretty inconsistent, and when using USB OTG, it's not easy to access, either. Don't get me wrong, it works. But it's a pain to use. The other thing that bothers me is the brightness adjustments. They're very slow to access, and it goes from 0 to 100 in increments of 1. It would be nice to have options to access it and adjust it faster.
For the reasons above, I'd actually give this product 4.5/5 rather than 5, but it's not an option, and I think that it is more deserving of a 5 than a 4.
One more thing to consider when getting a display such as this one to use as a second monitor: have the software to support it. There are not very many 13" displays with a 4K resolution out there. Odds are, you will have to use different scaling between this screen and your main screen. Not all OSes handle the differences in pixel density as well. Myself, I've been using Linux Mint for years, and I love it. But sadly, Cinnamon does not handle the second display well at all. I tried to fix it. I wrote bash scripts to automatically adjust the display settings when it gets connected and disconnected, by creating a custom resolution and setting it. The problem is that everytime I plugged it and unplugged it, Cinnamon would switch to 200% scaling. I'm using 100% scaling on my laptop. I'd want to use 150% scaling on the external display. But a bug is a bug. I actually downloaded Cinnamon's source code to see if I could correct the behaviour. Most of it is scriptable with Javascript or Python. But it's a big codebase, and I don't have the time to understand it well enough to do it myself.
In the end, I decided to dual boot Fedora 37 with KDE Plasma. That combination handles multiple monitors admirably well, and I have no qualms with it. I still have Mint installed on a partition, but unless the multiple monitors situation improves, I'll keep shifting fully to Fedora to reclaim disk space.
I know that last bit wasn't directly about the display. But it's important for people to realize.

Great for remote work
I will say it took a few tries to get the connections right so that the screen is registered by my laptop. After that it’s a really wonderful tool. I can sit on my porch and work for the day. I have shade overhead and once the sun is directly on my screen it does washout, but overall the screen is very portable and bright for having a mobile worksite. So far I am very happy with the purchase! It’s brighter than my work provided Lenovo ThinkPad. Would definitely suggest for remote workers who like to be outsideReviewed in the United States on July 27, 2022 by kelly
Portable Monitor QLED 15.6 Inch
It was simple to fit a laptop into my bag along with other necessities for the flight to my destination. The display is of high quality despite the fact that the screen is powered by the laptop. It is not going to be able to compete with the brightness or color of laptop monitors, but the price is very excellent, and the sound is decent; again, it does not have the same volume as laptops, but it is quite suitable in an atmosphere with less background noise. The screen is of sufficient size, weighs very little, and can be set up immediately without the need to download any additional disks or software. I am now composing this evaluation while using the aforementioned display. I'm quite pleased with how it turned out. In my view, the color and screen clarity are both of the highest possible quality.Reviewed in the United States on August 19, 2022 by Huy Le
Nice quality external display
This is the second external display I have owned. The first one had a matte display and wasn't QLED, so this is definitely a nice step up in quality. The aesthetics are more appealing on this Intelhill portable monitor, with the glossy back and narrower screen area. Keep in mind the display itself is also glossy, not matte, so using this monitor in bright sunlight could be distracting due to glare.
Out of the box my display didn't look too great, but I quickly discovered the backlight was set to 2% overall brightness. I cranked it up to about 70% where it appeared to be nice and bright. 100% brightness was too bright for indoor use, but could come in handy for outdoor use if needed. I appreciate the ease of using the built-in scroll wheel for changing display settings. Depending on your last adjusted setting, simply scrolling up or down will adjust either volume or brightness, which is handy.
My main gripe with my other portable monitor is that the display always starts slipping on surfaces, forcing me to constantly reposition it. However, this Intehill monitor has built in rubber feet on the bottom of the display which adds enough grip to smooth surfaces to keep it in position. Amazing!
I tested this display with my work laptop and it was a simple plug & play with the included USB type C cable. The laptop powers it on its own, so there's no need for the monitor's own power adapter in this particular working scenario. If I have to work when I travel this portable monitor will ensure I have a dual-screen setup on the go. Best of all the screen fits in my backpack style laptop bag.

Excellent high quality display, and I'm surprised
I've purchased a few of these portable monitors and they've always ended up returned or given away due poor quality panels and lacking functionality. Needless to say, I was very pleasantly surprised when I first connected this display to my Galaxy Fold 4 and ran it through a few YouTube HDR demo clips. This actually looks like it is indeed a QLED display. The colors are super vibrant, contrast levels are some of the best for an IPS display, brightness is great, virtually no light bleed, good color gradiant, and solid view angles. Keeping in mind I'm using this display next to a 48" LG OLED display and a Dell Precision 5570 with the calibrated 4k panel. Side-by-side, those display both obviously look much better. But it absolutely holds it's own and would put many others to shame.
I've already tested this with Dex, as a 2nd display for that same Dell notebook, and with the PS5 via mini-HDMI port. USB-C on the notebook is able to power the display on it's own. For Dex and anything on HDMI will require a separate power source or battery bank. Everything I've thrown at it has been fantastic. But it's not perfect.
The built-in speakers are down-firing, sound tiny, and not much volume - even at 100. This panel has no built-in battery. The plastic cover/stand is thin and not the best quality, but it does hold up the display. And the provided power adapter doesn't have enough juice to charge the phone. However, I did connect my own 30W wall charger and it was indeed able to handle Dex and charge the phone at the same time. I'm actually typing this review on Dex and it's great.
They also include all of the cables you'll need to make it work with anything that is supposed. Otherwise build quality is great, it's nice and thin, making is extra portable, and the reasonable price all come together to make this a highly recommended display.

I'm really liking this screen it works really well with my Surface Pro 8. With the Surface Pro having Thunderbolt 4 connections all I had to use is a USB C cable which sends both the power and data through just the one cable. So, the setup is extremely easy and fast with Thunderbolt 4 connections, if you have another setup like my wife, she just has to add a power connection and HDMI cable in place of the USB C cable I use. But the great thing is this package comes with everything you need cable wise so we didn’t even have to supply extra cable to connect to the monitor.
The cover can make you think for a second on how that goes on, but it is really easy and it is held in place by a magnetic connection. You will see on the back of the monitor the bottom part of the monitor is a little thicker and the case that has the smaller flap goes on the back just above the thicker part making it one size in the back and the front flips over to monitor face to protect that fully. It also has a built-in kickstand so it'll hold up the monitor by itself.
Overall, I really like this monitor, it is very portable since it's so thin and could just fit into a laptop case with the laptop. Now I'm sure if I use the monitor with my Surface if it is unplugged and providing power and a data connection to this monitor it will drain that battery down pretty quickly, but I haven't tested that yet just it’s just an assumption that I'm thinking with the extra power draw. But honestly, I highly doubt I would be using an extra monitor if I’m only on battery power with the Surface Pro, I see that more of an option for when I’m plugged into a power source.
